Message from the Minister

Senior Minister Rod Mason

Greetings!

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Onward Christian Church, a church that has served God and His kingdom since 1866.

No church can exist for that many years if it did not build on a foundation of God as the cornerstone. Our faith is grounded in the Biblical principles that God is the one true God; that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son; that Jesus bore our sins on the cross and was crucified for our transgressions; that He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day and that He ascended to heaven where He is preparing a place for us until He comes again to receive His own as He promised. Hallelujah! Amen!

The building the church meets in has changed many times since a small group of believers first began meeting together at Pleasant Hill. The faces of our congregation have also changed. Many of the saints who helped build the foundation of who we are today have gone on to their reward. They left a great legacy for us!

With all the changes we have experienced there is one constant. The Onward Christian Church has always existed to worship and serve God and to share His word.

If you are looking for a church home that is warm with love of Christ, one that serves God and one another, we’d love to have you join us.

In His service,

Rod Mason
