Why We Exist
WHY WE EXIST.
We believe the church today should model itself after the church described in the scripture in the days of Christ.
Our aim is to:
- Restore the church found in the New Testament and work for the unity of all believers in Christ. (John 17:21)
- To exalt Christ and His word above all human creeds.
- To build a church of Christ without denominational name for affiliation, working for Christian unity.
- To lead sinners to the saving Christ following the pattern found in the New Testament.
We appeal to the Bible on the essentials of faith and practice love regarding matters of opinion.
We believe in God the Father.

We believe that God hears and answers prayers.

We believe the Scriptures, both New and Old, are the inspired Word of God.

We believe in baptism by immersion for the remission of sin.

We believe and invite all Christians to observe the institution of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday.

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Son of the Living God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit.

We believe in Heaven and Hell.

We believe Christ will come again.

We believe Christ is the creed upon which the Christian Church is founded.

What Kind of Church
WHAT KIND OF CHURCH.
We are a congregation of sinners “saved by grace”. We are a fellowship of the imperfect, we grow, we trust, as we strive to mature and continue to grow in our relationship with Christ.
We teach that the unity of Christians comes through common devotion and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. The New Testament, God’s self-revelation in His Son, is our only rule of discipline, doctrine and devotion. We do not claim to be the only Christians, but we are happy to be Christians only. We try to remind each other frequently of the evils of sectarianism, exclusivism, and pharisaism.
This is Christ’s church. It is not a “Disciple church” nor is it an “independent church”. We rejoice int eh freedom found in Christ Jesus. We are free to love our enemies, our antagonists and are dismayed by the division which keeps brothers split and the world lost.
We turn away not seeker of God and involve ourselves totally in the cause of Christ. We are opposed to anything that is opposed to the will of the Father. We are first of all pro-Christ, pro-love, and pro-humanity!
All who accept Jesus Christ and obey Him will find a group with an open heart, an open Bible, an open communion table, an open baptistry.
By God’s grace, this is a free church – a church of Christ.
Salvation
WHAT WE BELIEVE REGARDING SALVATION
We believe God’s Plan of Salvation is found in the Bible.
You must BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ: John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Hebrews 11:6, Mark16:15 -16.
You must REPENT of your sins: Luke 16:3 – 5, 15:7, Acts 2:38, 17:30-31.
You must CONFESS your faith in Jesus Christ: Matthew 10:32 – 33, Acts 8:36 – 37, Romans 10:9.
You must be BAPTIZED (immersed): Matthew 28:18 – 20, Mark 16:16, Acts 8:36 – 39, Acts 16:33, Acts 22:16, Romans 6:3 – 6, Colossians 2:12, Galatians 3:2, I Peter 3:21, Ephesians 4:5.
You must live FAITHFULLY: Matthew 24:13, 1 Corinthians 15:58, Acts 2:42, 2 Peter1:5 – 12, Revelation 2:10.
What to Expect When Visiting
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
You will find a friendly, loving welcome and a message taken from the scripture. You will find Christians gathered to worship God through His Son Jesus Christ.
Worship consists of hearing a message from God’s word, praying, singing, observing the Lord’s Supper and giving our tithes and love offerings.
You can expect to hear an appeal for all men to return to Christ and the original church revealed in the Scripture.
